Trevaylor is a family run site set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just 500m from rugged cliffs and the West Cornwall coastal path. Many of Cornwall’s historic tin mines, including the Crowns Mine, are situated within walking distance. The campsite is sheltered by hedges and trees and consists of five separate enclosures giving room for families or groups to be together - climbing and outdoor pursuit groups, and rallies can easily be accommodated. The facilities include clean modern toilets, showers and a laundrette with free hot water for dishes. Also on site is a shop, which stocks general provisions, and a small quiet bar serving good food dueing peak periods only - and a selection of real ales. The open top bus to St Ives and Penzance stops outside the campsite and there are also regular buses for those who wish to forget the car or motor home.
