Port View is a lovely house located in the beautiful fishing port of Newlyn. The property has uninterrupted outstanding views over the busy harbour and Mounts Bay. It is within easy walking, almost on the level to the village shops and with the famous Newlyn Art Gallery, craft shops, local pubs, fine fish restaurants and family restaurants there is something for everyone. It is in a perfect position for you to have a memorable holiday in West Cornwall.
Newlyn is a busy fishing port, you can sit and watch the ever changing picture from the house inside or outside on the patio or balcony, it is a riot of colour.
Go down to the market early in the morning and watch the fishermen land their fish.
The market town of Penzance is approximately 1 mile away, a lovely walk along the coast path and promenade. Here you will find shopping, historic buildings and architecture, cinema, restaurants, galleries, library, the beautiful Art Deco Jubilee pool, the harbour and boat trips. It is here that you can catch the Scillonian for a day trip to the sub tropical Isles of Scilly. There is also a leisure centre for those rainy days.
There are many historic sites such as Levant mine, Lanyon Quoit, Chysauster, Merry Maidens, Truro Cathedral and Tintagel. Dotted around the coast are lovely beaches and hidden little coves for you to find and explore. Sennen, Porthcurno, St Ives, Gwithian and Marazion are very popular.
St Ives has a thriving artist community and is home to the Tate Gallery. Mousehole 2 miles, Marazion and St Michaels Mount 4 miles, St Ives 12 miles, Lands End 8 miles, Truro 30 miles, Falmouth and The National Maritime Museum 29 miles, Newquay 44 miles, St Austell and The Eden Project 48 miles and the Lizard Peninsula 26 miles are all within 1 hours drive.
There are good rail and bus links and beautiful walks on the South West Coast Path.

Disabled access...The front gate is on the level and there are two wide steps to the front door. There is a downstairs toilet and bed settee.
Access to the patio is on the level around the side of the house from the front door.
House suitable for anybody really but would caution against very young children as the patio wall is not a great height and there is a sizeable drop beyond it.
Prices quoted are for five people in 3 bedrooms; please add £50.00 per person per week for six or seven people.
We have tried to create a warm friendly atmosphere for the duration of your stay. As a result, when you arrive you will find small necessities such as bottled water, tea & coffee and we expect you to leave the same.
We have a cleaner who services the house after each stay.
