Myrtle Cottage has spell-binding views of Whitesands Beach and the turquoise blue waters of Sennen Cove where dolphins are often seen frolicking in the water.
Just a few hundred yards from the cottage the expansive Whitesands Beach certainly lives up to its name and is popular with swimmers and surfers year round, as well as being home to a surf school.
Life revolves around the sea in Sennen which is a working fishing village and lobster pots can be seen on the sands at low tide. The village is also home to a lifeboat station which is open to visitors in the summer months. There are several cafes, a beachside restaurant and two pubs as well as a general stores in the village whilst more comprehensive facilities will be found in Penzance which is approximately 15 minutes by car.
The far west of Cornwall is home to some of the most dramatic coastline in the County and attractions nearby include the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno and the legendary Land's End.
A prominent landmark in the village having previously been a tea rooms, Myrtle Cottage now offers flexible accommodation for six guests in four bedrooms. The large open plan living room is the focal point of the house with large bay window affording spectacular views.
There is also a bright modern kitchen and a utility room with a shower on this level. There are two seaward facing terraces (one of which is enclosed) which are ideal for dining alfresco and soaking up the atmosphere of this delightful old fishing village.
Parking is available in the nearby car park where daily tickets can be purchased.
