A very characteristic detached Cottage situated in the charming village
of Treen, which stands amidst National Trust Land above the coast
between Lamorna and Porthcurno.
The property dates back at least 200
years when part of it was originally the stables of the nearby Logan
Rock Inn, with a straw and hay barn above, in later years a small
cottage was added.
The accommodation has been sympathetically updated,
retaining many original features and each bedroom has its own bathroom.
Stripped pine furniture gives a rustic feel, and complements the age and
character of the cottage.
There are very thick walls, beamed ceilings,
steps up and down between rooms and several entrance doors, all of which
add an unusual quaintness to the property.
Extensive structural
alterations have recently been carried out to create an additional
large, part glazed reception room overlooking the gardens and an
enlarged bedroom with shower room/W.C.
