A comfortable country detached barn conversion, offering high quality
accommodation all year round, with beautiful rural views over a
patchwork of Cornish countryside. With glimpses of the distant Atlantic
and peacefully situated 1/4 mile down a private gravel lane a mile from
the village centre with its ancient church, Hollyberry is an idyll for
both families, couples and their pets alike.
Hollyberry is set in 36 acres of land within a designated conservation area. There are lovely nature walks through the mature woodland and reputedly bronze age field systems. As well as species of orchids, rare ferns and dragonflies, you are likely to spot a fox, badger or rabbit scampering in the fields. New for 2008: Holly, Bilbo and Gimli our new Pygmy goats and Charlie the Shetland Foal in the Paddock at Hollyberry will absolutely love meeting you as will our Hens, especially if you feed them some corn! Hollyberry is a good central location for exploring the Land's End Peninsula; Sennen Cove is just 3.5 miles away and Treen and its neighbouring coves, Penberth Cove and the famous open air Minack Theatre are within 10 minutes drive while Land's End aerodrome, Penzance Heliport and Penzance Harbour are within easy reach for day trips to the magical Isles of Scilly. The accommodation is in excellent order throughout, with attractive decor and oil fired central heating for comfort throughout the year. There are many character features, such as ceiling beams, traditional walls, and timber flooring. Hollyberry is a very spacious and attractive holiday home in a lovely setting.
