The beautiful golden, sandy beach stretches for miles at low tide and is ideal for swimming and surfing. During May through to September, Basking Sharks and Dolphins are frequent visitors to the bay and the sharks can be regularly seen lazily feeding on the plankton in the stunning turquoise sea.

The valley has a local pub which serves good food, a post office and stores, two tennis courts, a beach café (100 yards) which serves delicious cream teas and crab sandwiches! – The olde worlde Logan Rock Inn at Treen is a five minute drive or a 20 minute cliff walk for the more adventurous!
