The Stable at Trevowhan is a traditional small Cornish barn which is an independent part of a very private and peaceful complex of granite buildings that are lived in by the owners. The Stable has been tastefully converted with a spacious, open-plan interior and is ideal for 2 people.
There is a small, cosy mezzanine with two single beds which is reached by
secure stairs. There is a sofa-bed on the ground floor, where the kitchen
and separate shower room and toilet are located. West-facing windows and a
large south-facing window make the interior of the Stable very bright and
well-lit. There is a sheltered and secluded garden area and off road
parking alongside the property.
Trevowhan is a small hamlet that lies on a spectacular stretch of coast
midway between St Ives and Land's End and only five miles from Penzance.
It is surrounded by fields and moorland mainly owned by the National
Trust. The Cornwall Coastal Footpath is reached within minutes and the
entire area is a paradise for walkers, birdwatchers, botanists, geologists
and photographers.
The owners of the property can provide detailed descriptions of walking
routes, if required by guests and can advise on horse riding, surfing,
rock-climbing, archaeology, Art and Craft galleries and all visitor-
related matters.
