The traditional granite building sleeps 6 people in one double and two twin rooms. It has oil-fired central heating as well as a wood burner when the weather gets colder.
The Byre has been modernised and decorated in a manner to ensure that your stay is comfortable, in stylish surroundings. A beachy, modern feel has been given but without overriding the rustic origins of the building.
The spacious lounge has two three seat sofas, a stylish Hotpod woodburner, TV/DVD player with a range of lighting options to set the mood as you wish. There is a central table ideal for card games or placing your drinks. A Geneva iPod docking station and FM radio provides high quality sound and is transferrable to a room of your choice.
The roomy kitchen-diner has a large table with plenty of seating for people to gather whilst food is prepared as well as consumed so that whoever is preparing food and drink feels included rather than being banished!
Around the walls of the house are framed photographs all made within a short distance of The Byre. Whilst many of them were taken at dawn, it is very much your holiday and you are at liberty to lie-in bed as long as you want!
Surrounded by tall granite Cornish hedges, the large garden is has
extensive flat grassy areas ideal for ball games and energetic children
to run around. The wooden fence makes an ideal ‘net’ for a fun game of bat and ball....
