If Home is Where The Heart is ...
by John McLeod
If Home is where the heart is
Then may your Home be blessed
A shelter from the storms of Life
A place of rest,
And when each day is over
And toil put in its place
Your Home's dear warmth
Will bring its smile
To light the saddest face!

LOCATION
The historic town of HAYLE has long been a popular holiday destination, famous for it's 3 miles of golden sandy beaches and rugged coastline. The town offers a good range of facilities including banks, building societies, post office, library, tourist information found by the recreation park, skateboard park, many good restaurants and 8 pubs/wine bars can be enjoyed and explored.
The A30 bypass is located approximately one mile away from Upton Towans, offering easy access to neighbouring towns.
At this A30 roundabout junction we now boast a new out of town shopping area comprising of Marks and Spencers, Next and Boots. with the best outdoor car boot on a Sunday morning from 8am - 1pm all year round weather permitting.
The historical town many years ago was split into 2 parts; Copperhouse and Foundry.
Explore the Foundry end and you will find a train station offering a direct line to Paddington, Plymouth and Exeter.
Closeby you will find the cosy hamlet of Gwithian and the RED RIVER Inn (TR27 5BW).where you will be greeted with a warm welcome from Sally and Aaron and no doubt meet the locals, along with the campers as you will note a 'boutique' style campsite on the doorstep. There is a pretty church in this parish and a delightful thatched chocolate box cottage that boast lovely 'cream tees'!
Google: 'The Bucket of Blood Inn' a traditional low-beameed, thick white washed walled pub located in Phillack TR27 5AE
A bit further you may enjoy 'The Sandsifter' (TR27 4LE) a late licensed restaurant and wine bar at the mouth of the National Trust location of Godrevy with it's lighthouse, where you will also find all the surfers and Godrevy cafe.Follow the path up towards Godrevy Lighthouse take a right turn in the main car park and follow the crowds up to see one of the largest colonies of seals to be found in England. It is scenic full of fauna and flora and most magical!
Watch the seals(as they are breeding I personally have counted over 80 at one time) bring your binoculars, watch the surfers, make sand castles, fly a kite, ride your bikes, buy an ice cream, have a picnic, walk, people watch, sun bathe, the choices are YOURS !!!
. I am very proud that you are reading about Nevamind and I hope you choose to stay and chill for your holiday, I only wish I could be there to greet you personally with my heartfelt 'WELCOME'. I would like you to know that this is a very HAPPY house and has brought me nothing more than love and peace and I am happy to share my joy with you now. Named "Nevamind" by me due to the fact it took me ages to purchase the property due to the searches showing a mining seam running underneath the property at a great depth down, but it turned out to be inaccurate and the sale progressed. OH....NEVER MIND !
Welcome to surfers paradise and enjoy the lifestyle!
