Local Facilities – St Just boasts four good pubs, two café / restaurants and a range of small shops. There is a vibrant community of artists and hence a number of galleries. A regular bus service runs to Lands End, St Ives and Penzance, where there is a main line railway station. Other places of interest in the immediate locality are the 15 th century church, Plen an Gwary (ancient playing place), which is pagan in origin and is one of only three that remain, Cot Valley and Cape Cornwall. The area’s tin mining past is evident throughout the area and in many ways fashions the landscape. No visit to St Just is complete without a visit to the sandy beaches of Sennen Cove, which is a ten-minute car journey away or, for the more ambitious, a stunning coastal walk away.
